Post-Doc - Development of innovative sensors based on molecularly imprinted polymer for the analysis of micropollutants (antibiotics) in groundwater (SENSAAS Project)

The postdoctoral work will focus on the development of molecularly imprinted materials to detect specific antibiotics (fluoroquinolones, macrolides, sulfonamides) present in groundwater and likely to induce antiobioresistance in bacteria. The objective is thus to propose a new selective and specific analysis in order to offer an alternative method to the more expensive and complex measurements classically carried out by liquid chromatography associated with double spectrometry. A comparison will be made with these measurements acquired conventionally in LC-MSMS by another partner laboratory in charge of making the link with the quantification and characterization of antibiotic resistant bacteria.

Knowledge and skills required:
The candidate must have good knowledge in organic chemistry, synthesis of polymeric materials (sol-gel, acrylates, …) and analytical chemistry. He/she should have a good knowledge of classical analytical techniques, in particular chromatographic methods, and if possible knowledge of electrochemistry and NMR.
Language: French or English (French not mandatory)
