Lipids Nutrition Cancer

The Inserm UMR866 Research Center ‘Lipids, Nutrition, Cancer – LNC’ aims to promote fundamental and clinical research in the fields of Cancer, Nutrition, Lipid Biology and Cardiometabolic Risk. Over the last few years, and beyond a common management, a main action of the UMR866-LNC Research Center has been to foster interactions between complementary research teams to:
– increase cohesion
– share methodological tools
– initiate and support translational research programs involving UMR866 teams and the clinical services of the University Hospital and the CGFL, in close interaction with the Clinical Investigation Centers (CIC-EC and CIC-P)
– to welcome and allow the development of new teams and new projects led by talented young researchers and teacher-researchers
– to create a specificity recognized at the highest international level at the interface of cancer biology and metabolic diseases.

The Center currently includes 8 teams and 2 associated teams.
