The EIPHI Graduate School offers a research training degree at the master’s and doctorate level, structured as graduate programs. The program is supported by laboratories and the University of Bourgogne‑Franche‑Comté scientific department of “Advanced materials, waves and smart systems.”

Through its programs, the EIPHI Graduate School promotes:

The EIPHI Graduate School offers 16 master’s degrees and 2 doctoral programs across 5 graduate programs.

Who can apply?
Students who have obtained a licence/bachelor’s equivalent to 180 ECTS (European Credits Transfer Scale) (high school diploma + 3 or 4 years of university studies).
Formal education or continuing education.

What will you learn?

  • Physics, Mathematics, and Applications:
    High technology, instrumentation, information technologies and telecommunications industries, aerospace, space industry, industrial consulting, numerical analysis for industrial applications, big data analysis.
  • Intelligent Systems and Structures:
    Aerospace and aviation industry, land transport, automotive, energy, luxury goods, watchmaking, high-tech industry, instrumentation (time & frequency, biomedical, robotics, control, etc.), manufacturing, R&D in the automotive industry, machine design and development.
  • Energy:
    Renewable energies and hydrogen, smart grids, thermal/electric machines, electric vehicles, energy-efficient systems and buildings.
  • Materials Science & Chemistry:
    Transport (automotive, aerospace), energy (production, transport), glass industry, cement and concrete industry, health, agro-food and pharmaceutical industries, green chemistry.
  • Computer Science:
    Digital and software industry, web, networks, embedded software in mechatronics and health, quality assurance, testing.

When?
Training of 5 years over 10 semesters (academic year from September to August).

Université Bourgogne Europe (city of Dijon), Université Marie et Louis Pasteur (cities of Besançon, Belfort and Montéliard), UTBM (cities of Montbéliard and Belfort), SUPMICROTECH (city of Besançon).

Through 120 ECTS (60 ECTS during M1 + 60 ECTS during M2).
