Institut Univers, Temps-fréquence, Interfaces, Nanostructures, Atmosphère et environnement Molécules

Institute UTINAM is a laboratory that brings together astrophysics, molecular physics and chemistry whose objects of study although different, are for the most part characterized in the context of fundamental researches, while having, when relevant, the desire for more applicated work with industrial partners. The studies carried out in the lab have as a common point the characterization of the structural and dynamic properties of complex systems, interacting with environments that are themselves complex. Our work is developed within five research teams, three in chemistry (Functionalized Materials and Surfaces – Nanoparticles, Contaminants, Membranes – Sonochemistry and Surface Reactivity) and two in physics / astrophysics (Theoretical physics and Astrophysics – Spectroscopy, Planetology, Atmospheres, Clathrates, Environment).
