Department of Research in Vehicle Engineering for the Environment

The DRIVE laboratory develops its research in two main fields: energy optimization and smart transportation systems as well as mechanics of materials and structures (from their durability to their vibratory and acoustic behavior). These two research areas are complementary and at the heart of a global project around three major issues: weight reduction/CO2 emissions, safety and comfort.
