The research work of management science professors focuses on organizations in all their forms: private and public companies, administrations, associations, banks, cooperatives, mutual insurance companies, etc. The researchers examine their finance, architecture and governance. They adopt both a theoretical and an applied perspective to better understand organizational mechanisms, often responding to current issues (bank failures, for example). They make international comparisons and also study the evolution of practices. They are interested in human resources management, bonus and compensation systems, managerial control mechanisms, strategic decisions, etc.
Research work is also carried out in the field of marketing, particularly with regard to consumer behavior.
