Eiffel scholarships 2023: applications are now open !

The EIFFEL Excellence Scholarships reward international students with excellent profiles, at the master’s and doctoral levels. This is a national program supported by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
Master level
Who can apply?
Eligible:
- the Eiffel Program is reserved for non-French nationals,
- candidates must be 25 or under at the time of the 2023 competition—that is, they must have been born after the 31st of March 1997,
- candidates must apply to a Master registered in the fields of study covered by the Eiffel scholarship detailed in the guidelines of the Eiffel scholarship.
Ineligible:
- candidates who are studying in France,
- candidates with two nationalities of which one is French

How to apply?
The fields of study, the eligibility criteria, the procedure, the duration and the amount of the grant are detailed in the guidelines of the Eiffel scholarship.
If your field of study is covered by the Eiffel scholarship program, contact the Head of Master of the program you have selected and join to your email:
- A CV
- A cover letter
- All your higher education transcripts of records
- Any document that you might find relevant
If he/she decides to support your application, the International Relations office of UBFC will send you the necessary information and will grant you access to the platform dedicated to Eiffel applications. You will need to fill out the application form on the dedicated platform before December 15th 2022.
Who is in charge of submitting my application?
Only applications submitted by UBFC are accepted.
Doctoral level
Who can apply?
Eligible:
- The Eiffel Program is reserved for non-French nationals,
- priority is given to applicants who are outside of France,
- candidates for the 1st year of PhD only,
- candidates must be 30 or under at the time of the 2023 competition—that is, they must have been born after the 31st of March 1992,
- candidates must apply to a training registered in the fields of study covered by the Eiffel scholarship detailed in the guidelines of the Eiffel scholarship.
Ineligible:
- candidates with two nationalities of which one is French.

How to apply?

If your field of study is covered by the Eiffel scholarship program, contact your future Director of thesis. If he/she decides to support your application, the International Relations Office of UBFC will send you the necessary information and will grant you access to the platform dedicated to Eiffel applications. You will need to fill out the application form before December 15th 2022.
Please note: in order to apply, you must already have a thesis subject, a Director of thesis and have a research unit!

For all the candidates, the results will be published by Campus France during the week of April 3rd, 2023.
