C\u2019est ce que d\u00e9montrait le s\u00e9miologue Roland Barthes dans ses <em>Mythologies<\/em>, publi\u00e9es en 1957. L\u2019intellectuel y \u00e9tudiait en effet les objets et les rites populaires qui r\u00e9v\u00e9laient l\u2019esprit d\u2019une \u00e9poque et les affects collectifs du pays, inventant ainsi une nouvelle mani\u00e8re de faire de la sociologie, accessible, impertinente et ludique. La DS, le steak-frites, les jouets en plastique\u2026 rien n\u2019\u00e9chappait \u00e0 sa sagacit\u00e9.<\/p><figure class=\"align-right zoomable\"><\/figure><p>Aujourd\u2019hui, ces objets ne sont plus les m\u00eames et la globalisation \u00e0 grandement chang\u00e9 la donne. Mais l\u2019exercice lui, n\u2019a pas pris une ride et c\u2019est Pascal Lardellier, professeur de sociologie \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Bourgogne, auteur entre autres de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.editions-ems.fr\/livres-2\/collections\/societing\/ouvrage\/236-nos-modes-nos-mythes-nos-rites.html\"><em>Nos modes, nos mythes, nos rites<\/em><\/a> qui se penche sur nos objets cultes.<\/p><p>\u00ab T\u2019as pris un masque ? \u00bb, \u00ab Remonte ton masque ! \u00bb, \u00ab Ah j\u2019ai oubli\u00e9 mon masque\u2026 \u00bb. Ces phrases, on les a souvent entendues et prononc\u00e9es ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Cette barri\u00e8re physique dress\u00e9e entre nous et les autres, cette barri\u00e8re concr\u00e8te contre les gouttelettes charg\u00e9es de virus, c\u2019est une protection simple et efficace qui a transform\u00e9 en profondeur notre monde visuel et nos relations sociales.
