Cette pratique, bas\u00e9e sur la reproduction sexu\u00e9e des plantes, consiste \u00e0 croiser entre eux des sp\u00e9cimens qui pr\u00e9sentent des caract\u00e9ristiques d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats, qu\u2019elles soient ornementales ou agronomiques (r\u00e9sistance aux maladies\/insectes, meilleure production, qualit\u00e9s nutritionnelles ou gustatives). De g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, les plantes descendantes sont s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es jusqu\u2019\u00e0 obtention d\u2019une nouvelle vari\u00e9t\u00e9 ayant fix\u00e9e les caract\u00e8res (ou traits) souhait\u00e9s. L\u2019\u00e9volution des connaissances et des technologies dans le domaine de la g\u00e9n\u00e9tique ont conduit au d\u00e9veloppement des Organismes G\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement Mofidi\u00e9s (OGMs). De nombreux <strong>\u00e9changes \u00e0 b\u00e9n\u00e9fices r\u00e9ciproques<\/strong> s\u2019op\u00e8rent entre cette communaut\u00e9 et la plante. La plante s\u00e9lectionne et \u00ab\u00a0nourrit\u00a0\u00bb son microbiote via la rhizod\u00e9position, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la s\u00e9cr\u00e9tion par l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire du syst\u00e8me racinaires de mol\u00e9cules issues de la photosynth\u00e8se. L\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat et l\u2019originalit\u00e9 de leur approche r\u00e9sident dans la mobilisation de la forte capacit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9volution et d\u2019adaptation des micro-organismes, dont le cycle vital court <strong>permettrait l\u2019apparition rapide de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques pour la plante<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Au cours de cette \u00e9tude, Samuel Jacquiod a donc ainsi tent\u00e9 d\u2019am\u00e9liorer et d\u2019abaisser, sur dix g\u00e9n\u00e9rations successives, la sant\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9rale d\u2019une plante* mod\u00e8le de la famille des Poac\u00e9es, le Brachypode \u00e0 deux \u00e9pis (<em>Brachypodium dystachion<\/em>). L\u2019ensemble des plantes utilis\u00e9es au cours de l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation \u00e9tant issues d\u2019un m\u00eame lot de graines, elles pr\u00e9sentaient le m\u00eame patrimoine g\u00e9n\u00e9tique au cours des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations\u00a0: les diff\u00e9rences de performance observ\u00e9es chez les plantes sont donc uniquement caus\u00e9es par microbiote inocul\u00e9.<br \/><br \/>La croissance des plantes et l\u2019\u00e9valuation de leur \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9ral ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9es via de multiples photographies (plus de 25 000\u00a0!) gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www6.dijon.inrae.fr\/plateforme4pmi\">plateforme de ph\u00e9notypage haut-d\u00e9bit \u00ab\u00a0<\/a><\/u><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www6.dijon.inrae.fr\/plateforme4pmi\">4PMI<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www6.dijon.inrae.fr\/plateforme4pmi\">\u00a0\u00bb<\/a><\/u> de l\u2019INRAE de Dijon. Cette plateforme, unique en France, constitue un outil indispensable pour r\u00e9aliser un suivi non-destructif des plantes et limiter les perturbations du couple plante-microbiote, condition primordiale pour r\u00e9aliser une s\u00e9lection optimale.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-49c8e57 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" Il y a d\u2019abord une phase initiale transitoire durant laquelle la composition du microbiote varie \u00e9norm\u00e9ment d\u2019une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 l\u2019autre, sans effet sur la plante. Suit une phase de stabilisation au cours de laquelle, la composition du microbiote se stabilise d\u2019une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 l\u2019autre, avec apparition des effets sur la croissance de la
