The innovative and unique content of QuanTEEM in Europe relies on the expertise and research activities of the <a href=\"https:\/\/icb.u-bourgogne.fr\/\">ICB Laboratory<\/a> at UBFC, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.physik.uni-kl.de\/en\/startseite\/\">Department of Physics<\/a> at TUK and the <a href=\"https:\/\/phys.au.dk\/ccq\">Center for Complex Quantum Systems<\/a> at AU.<\/p>\n<p>The programme <strong>addresses aspects and applications ranging from basic research in physics and beyond to major grand challenges<\/strong> such as energy, materials, health, security and environment, to which quantum technologies has started to apply.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1242\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1242\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Course content<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1242\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1242\"><p>QuanTEEM students acquire deep knowledge of the <strong>core techniques of Quantum Technologies<\/strong> combined with <strong>interdisciplinary and intersectoral education.<\/strong> It targets\u00a0the potential of Quantum Technologies well beyond standard applications limited to physics area. The QuanTEEM curriculum is jointly tailored to comprise all the aspects of Quantum Technologies with a wide spectrum of advanced courses, mainly based on the <strong>established quantum pillars<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quantum computers and computation<\/li>\n<li>Quantum communication<\/li>\n<li>Quantum sensing and imaging<\/li>\n<li>Quantum simulation and multidisciplinary applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is complemented by other interdisciplinary courses. The programme combines <strong>fundamental learning<\/strong> with <strong>advanced instrumental and technological laboratory practical<\/strong> via the state-of-the-art facilities provided by the consortium. The programme aims also at opening the mind on interdisciplinary topics on which Quantum Technologies start to apply, including technological and non-technological issues, such as information technology, chemistry, medicine, economy, humanities and social sciences. All courses in the QuanTEEM programme are taught in <strong>english<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The QuanTEEM programme offers a choice of specializations which defines different mobility tracks during the master.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&gt; 1<sup>st<\/sup> semester :<\/strong> core courses at UBFC and interdisciplinary winter school<\/p>\n<p><strong>&gt; 2<sup>nd<\/sup> semester :<\/strong> specialization in one of the two proposed tracks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>specialization in photonics at UBFC<\/li>\n<li>a more theoretical specialization (many-body quantum physics) at TUK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>&gt; 3<sup>rd<\/sup> semester :<\/strong> specialization in one of the two proposed tracks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>integrated quantum optics at TUK<\/li>\n<li>platforms for Quantum Technologies at AU<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1243\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1243\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Entry requirements<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1243\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"3\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1243\"><p>All applicants must hold a <strong>Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in Science<\/strong>. Background knowledge in general physics, optics, electromagnetism and quantum physics is mandatory. Candidates must have very good academic qualifications.<\/p>\n<p>All applicants, except native English speakers, must provide recent evidence of their proficiency in English through one of the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>TOEFL<\/strong>: minimum score: 600 points (paper) or 95 points (internet) or 250 (computer-based)<\/li>\n<li><strong>IELTS<\/strong>: minimum score of 6.5<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cambridge English First<\/strong> (FCE) &#8211; Grade A or B<\/li>\n<li><strong>Certificate of a University Language Centre<\/strong> testifying that the student<br \/>masters the necessary knowledge of English to function academically<br \/>(specify CEF-level \/ minimum CEF-level B2)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1244\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1244\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Scholarships<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1244\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1244\"><p>The best students will be awarded a scholarship of 1400\u20ac\/ month during 24 months. materials science (including nanostructures), and computer science, serving as the backbone of the programme and to provide to students an international network as well as a genuine <strong>European learning, an integrated cultural and multilanguage experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Students graduating from the QuanTEEM program will have the ability to be recruited in the numerous private companies active in the field of QT, to embark on a top-class PhD programme in laboratories (research department) and private companies (R&amp;D department), or to create a start-up, anywhere in Europe and in
