It is achieved <em>via<\/em> partnerships with the industrial sector and public stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Each of the higher-education institutions of Bourgogne \u2013 Franche-Comt\u00e9 has a dedicated interlocutor for valorisation, contracting and technology transfer questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.univ-fcomte.fr\/valorisation-et-transfert-de-technologie\"><strong>Direction Recherche et valorisation and the SAIC<\/strong><\/a> <strong>at the Universit\u00e9 de Franche-Comt\u00e9<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Universit\u00e9 de Franche-Comt\u00e9 hosts a direction of research and valorisation supported by an industrial and commercial activity service (\u201cService d\u2019Activit\u00e9s Industrielles et Commerciales\u201d; SAIC) to help researchers in their valorisation and innovation missions. The SAIC is a financial service that manages all administrative and financial operations in link with collaborations between UFC research units and their industrial partners.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The \u201cDirection \u00e0 la Recherche, aux \u00c9tudes Doctorales et \u00e0 l\u2019Innovation\u201d <\/strong><strong>(<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.utbm.fr\/recherche-innovation\/valorisation-innovation\/\"><strong>DREDI<\/strong><\/a><strong>) at UTBM<br \/>\n<\/strong>The UTBM industrial and commercial activity service (\u201cService d\u2019Activit\u00e9s Industrielles et Commerciales\u201d; SAIC) promotes industrial activities, notably by contributing to determine a commercial policy and by managing research, study and analysis contracts in link with UTBM research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The valorisation of UBFC research works more particularly relies on 2 stakeholders:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Society for the Acceleration of Technology Transfer (\u201cSoci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration du transfert de technologie\u201d; SATT) <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sayens.fr\/\"><strong>SAYENS<\/strong><\/a><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>SAYENS is devoted to maximising the socio-economic impact of academic research results and to favouring job creation in France by simplifying, accelerating and facilitating technology and knowledge transfer from public research to firms, whatever their size. It has access to the skills and innovations of the 6,500 researchers from the 140 public research laboratories distributed across Bourgogne \u2013 Franche-Comt\u00e9, Lorraine, and south Champagne-Ardenne (Troyes). It relies on dedicated professional teams to detect and evaluate innovations and support them all the way up to transfer to the industry.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The regional business incubator <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/deca-bfc.org\/\"><strong>DECA-BFC<\/strong><\/a><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>The Academic Entrepreneurship Structure of Bourgogne \u2013 Franche-Comt\u00e9 (\u201cDispositif d\u2019Entrepreneuriat Acad\u00e9mique de Bourgogne-Franche-Comt\u00e9\u201d; DECA-BFC) was created by the higher-education and research institutions of Bourgogne \u2013 Franche-Comt\u00e9 to promote business incubation and raise awareness to business creation. This structure is devoted to supporting innovative business creation projects on a customised basis, with the help of a business manager and a company head.
